While reading the book, “Essentialism” by Greg McKeown, I came across a fun exercise that I thought I’d share with my readers and fellow writers. In this exercise, you are to create a space just for thinking. Turn off all of your electronic devices, spouses, children, emails, etc., and for 15 minutes non-stop….THINK! Of course, keep your journal near you as ideas or answers to questions you’ve been pondering may arise and you will want to write them down. Complete this exercise in your life, often as will you gain insights in your life and your creativity will flow like never before.
