Once again, I'm here to give you another step by step guide but this time, it's on how I achieve my finger coils. Let me say this first, your hands and arms will get tired and be ready to fall off but this hairstyle is so worth it......TRUST ME!
Below is a video from a vlogger, Tierra Hogan (@tierralhogan) that uses a similar and quicker method as me (y'all know by now that I'm NOT creating no videos of me coiling my hair, I'm tender headed lol):

You will need the following Uncle Funky's Daughter products:
Bye-Bye Buildup Cleansing Conditioner
Heal & Renew Intensive Hair Masque
Thirsty Curls Leave-in Curl Revitalizer
Curly Magic Curl Stimulator
Oil (of your choice)
Hair tools you will need:
Clips (to section hair)
Spray bottle (for water)
Denman Brush
Rubber ties (optional)
Comb (to section hair)
Pick (to lift hair at the roots)
In the beginning of my #twa stages, I would finger coil my hair down to the roots/scalp and pick it at the roots to add volume but now that my hair is so much longer, I don't finger coil it all the way to the roots (see image above).
Here's my step by step guide to the art of my finger coils:
STEP 1: I co-wash my hair thoroughly with the Bye-Bye Buildup Cleansing Conditioner.
STEP 2: I detangle and then deep condition my hair for about 5 minutes or longer if I sit under dryer with the Heal & Renew Intensive Hair Masque.
STEP 3: I spray my hair with the Thirsty Curls Leave-in Curl Revitalizer.
STEP 4: I part my hair into 4-6 sections and clip the sections that I'm not working on.
STEP 5: I pump two times of the Curly Magic Curl Stimulator (gel) and coat the section I'm working on.
STEP 6: I take small pieces of hair in this one section and finger coil each small pieces of hair. NOTE: In the video, she mainly used a denman brush and her fingers to coil the hair. I use this method as well, but I use my fingers more than the denman brush, your choice.
STEP 7: If I'm racing out of the door, I pick my hair at the roots to add volume and shape the hairstyle and it's literally considered a wash and go or I sit under the dryer for about 20 minutes and allow the finger coils to dry.
BONUS: You can add a scarf to this hairstyle until you're ready to show a full hairstyle and every morning, I spray some water on the coils to loosen them up and add some oil to my scalp and coils to give it that extra moisture and shine that'll get me through my busy day.

I really enjoy using this line of products to create my moisturized finger coils. This style lasts up to about two weeks but I typically wash my hair every week. I stretch this style out by wearing the finger coils for about four days, then I'll turn it into a twist-out if I'm not ready to wash my hair. I love, love, love this product line.
The Curly Magic Curl Stimulator is the key to your finger coils success. This is the gel that keeps your coils together and moisturized. I love that it comes in a container with a pump. This keeps me from over using the product and not making a mess (I'm clumsy at times).
