I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to fall this year. I've had my eyes on the Olay Regenerist skin care collection and I was NOT disappointed when I finally got the chance to use the products. I try to give you my best reviews when it comes to skin care products because I recognize that everyone skin and skin types, varies. This is my first time using any products by Olay and girl, they did not come to play when it came to their packaging for starters! The packaging was an apple color red, silver, white, gray and black with a glossy finish. As a blogger and photographer, I instantly started thinking about photo concepts lol. But before I get into my review, below is a list of the products I purchased and their links if you want to purchase them for yourself.

Detoxifying Pore Scrub Cleanser
The cleanser is a clear, semi-thick gel formula that absorbs into your skin immediately. I have combination skin so in my chin and cheek bone areas, the product absorb quickly! Using my facial cleansing brush in circular motions, I applied more water onto my face so that the product would lather up more to my liking. This product deep cleans your face and great for persons who wear basic, daily makeup. I typically cleanse my face twice because of the hot weather here in New Orleans and I just want to ensure that I removed the dirt and oil from my skin.
Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturizer
For this collection, they didn't create an individual toner so I had to use a toner from another brand before applying my moisturizer. You can use this moisturizer day or night but I only use it during the day time because I also purchased the night cream from this collection. At first, I kept having trouble lifting the plastic cap off that is located underneath the top, so I eventually discarded it. This moisturizer has a light scent and according to the brand, it is a "rich cream." I definitely feel "rich" when I used this collection! Lastly, this moisturizer has anti-aging ingredients and restores skin elasticity.
Night Recovery Cream
This product packaging color is purple and silver, which helps me know which moisturizer to grab throughout the day. I was walking in the skin care aisle in Target and came across it, so of course I added it with this collection. On their website, the brand states that, "Its intense moisture hydrates throughout the night to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This night moisturizer has a super-hydrating formula with Amino-Peptide Complex penetrates 10 layers deep to regenerate surface skin cells. Packed with hydration power, it plumps skin with a rich, velvety feel and exfoliates to aid surface cell turnover. The anti-aging moisturizer’s fragrance-free formula is non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the surface of the skin." I can definitely say that when I wake up in the morning, my skin still feels soft and moisturized....... I almost don't want to rewash my face lol.
Micro-Sculpting Serum
This serum has a tint of gold shimmer in it and the product comes out of the bottle so thin and easy which is a plus for those who tend to go heavy handed using products. The benefits of this serum is a reduction of wrinkles to the face, eyes and neck areas and can be used day or night during your skin care routine. I was pleased that the serum was an actual water based cream instead of a liquid or gel based serum. Again in certain areas, my skin gets pretty dry so any products that are creams, usually works wonders for my skin.
Facial Cleansing Brush
This product is pretty much self-explanatory so bare with me if I'm brief in this part of the review lol. It came with two cleaning brushes which I highly appreciated. Basically I use this cleansing brush in a circular motion, after I wet my face and apply the Detoxifying Pore Scrub Cleanser that I mentioned above. Once I'm done, I rinse the brush and store it back into my mini-fridge with the rest of my skin care products. There's no purpose in storing it in my mini-fridge, I just like to keep everything where I can find it.
Micro-Exfoliating Wet Cleansing Cloths
Now this is probably my holy grail product out of the entire collection. I use the cleansing cloths several times a day, just as a refresher to cleanse my face. I also use the cleansing cloths on "cheat days" when I'm too tired to do my full skin care routine but still want/need to clean my face. I was not aware that the cleansing cloths were apart of the collection until I was in Target that day. I will definitely purchase this product again.
Overall, I'm highly impressed with this skin care collection from Olay. I can easily see myself using this collection for years to come. It just puts me in a different mood after using the products. They say you get what you pay for and this collection proved that! I purchased everything from Amazon minus the night cream and the cleansing cloths.
