I was so excited to try a new skin care product that is not only healthy for my skin but it is also made with clean ingredients. During this challenge, I applied the products during the day that kept my skin feeling moisturized and especially at night, which is exactly what I needed after a nice hot bath or shower. For this challenge, I selected the Combination Skin Starter Kit and this set includes and according to the packaging their instructions:
Lather 2-3 pumps with water and apply to skin in gentle circular motions then rinse.
Apply a thin layer to eye contour area until absorbed.
Apply 1 pump to face, neck and decolletage if needed, follow with the Nurture moisturizer.
(Night time use) Apply 1 pump to face, neck and decolletage, follow with the Nurture moisturizer.
Apply 1-2 pumps to face, neck and decolletage, massaging into skin until fully absorbed.
Apply a visible layer to cleansed face, neck and decolletage. Leave on for up to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
Days 1-5 Results: The Gel Facial Cleanser was so easy to apply on to my face and wash off after each use. I used small amounts of the Eye Revive Anti-aging Eye Cream packet and that one packet lasted for the complete challenge. I applied a thin layer of the Daily Hydrating Serum because I knew that I wanted to apply more of the Nurture moisturizer around the dry areas of my face (lower cheek and chin). I struggled a bit in the beginning keeping up with the routine at night. At night, I used the gel facial cleanser, the eye cream and the C Advance Anti-aging Serum which I felt immediate results after each use. On day five, I applied the Renewing Peel Gel Exfoliator which is made with lemongrass and smelled so good. Overall, days one thru five were really about me establishing and maintaining my skin care routine both day and night.
Days 5-10 Results: I had to push myself through these days to stay consistent with my routine but I stuck to it, nevertheless. I took a selfie and posted it on social media and received so many compliments regarding my skin. I was a little heavy handed with the moisturizer, so I ran out of the product a couple of days before the challenge ended *insert #FIXITJESUS* I'm not a quitter so I continued the challenge minus one product.
