Over the last few months, I've really enjoyed using my Pixi skincare products in the image above, as apart of my daily skincare routines. I was initially only interested in the Pixi Vitamin-C Serum but of course, as I browsed through the brands website, I came across more products to try on my skin. I'm a fan of purchasing full collections and I always try new products for up to three months to ensure that my reviews are as accurate as can be for my skin type (combination) and my readers. I did not purchase the full Pixi Vitamin-C collection this time, but I will eventually add on more products as needed. As you read the blog post, all products will be linked as mentioned and all of them will be listed and linked for review/purchase at the end of this post.
Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser
This by far is my favorite product from the collection. It is so refreshing on my skin and I use it several times a day. Usually, cleansers are either gels or creams but this cleanser core ingredient is water. Just a few pumps of the product on an exfoliating cotton round and you're all done. I will definitely be purchasing this item again!
You can use the Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser multiple times a day to give your skin that much needed boost it needs daily.
DetoxifEYE Eye Patches
Every now and then, I get dark circles underneath my eyes that I have to usually hide with a concealer. Since staying home in quarantine, I've really enjoyed applying the DetoxifEYE Depuffing Eye Patches weekly for about 10 minutes during each use. The eye patches comes with a plastic spatula that helps you remove easily remove each eye patch from the jar. Once the product has set underneath my eyes for the allotted time, I discard the patches and pat any remainder serum onto my skin. For a cooler feeling which also aids in depuffing the eyes instantly, I use my facial roller that I keep refrigerated at all times. This product is not from the Vitamin-C collection but I couldn't pass it by.
Vitamin-C Lotion
This Vitamin-C lotion is my latest purchase and I haven't had quite the same amount of time as with the other products that I've used. It is a moisturizer that pours out of the bottle quickly so be careful when using this product to avoid overuse. So far, I'm not a huge fan of the smell but that doesn't mean that I won't continue to use the product.
I was highly impressed that this product protects your skin from sun damage as the brand stated on their website. "Pixi Beauty Vitamin-C Lotion is an antioxidant-rich facial moisturizer that deeply hydrates, protects your skin from sun damage and boosts natural luminosity." I use this product often throughout the day because I have combination skin and my skin gets really dry mainly around the chin area, so I apply small amounts of the product as needed, throughout my day and it easily fits into my purse for on the go and other travel needs.
Vitamin-C Serum
According to the brand, "Pixi Beauty Vitamin-C Serum is an antioxidant-powered facial serum with Vitamin-C that brightens the skin by boosting both immediate and long-term radiance." I use this serum during my nighttime routine and my skin is so full of life, the next morning. Next to the juice cleanser above, this is by far, is my second favorite product to use from this collection. The serum appears to be thick and looks exactly like orange juice inside the dropper but easily penetrates into the skin once applied. Glow Peel Pads
This product is very POWERFUL on your skin because of the glycolic acid so please use as directly instructed on the label! I use these Glow Peel Pads once a week at night as suggested. There's a tingling sensation instantly after you apply the product. I allow the product to sit on my skin for exactly two minutes (or less if needed). This product is my go-to when I feel as if my skin needs to be deeply exfoliated if I'm either out in a public place or outside of my home for extended periods of time. When using this product, you definitely want to have ready, running cool water to rinse and soothe the skin afterwards. Trust me your skin will thank you! Overall, I'm really impressed with this brands vitamin-C collection. I turn into a fan girl for products that are rich in vitamin-C and this collection definitely has it. Moving forward, I intend to purchase more products from this collection. If your skin needs a pick me upper throughout your day, evening or at night, you should definitely try any of these products listed above.
