Have you ever heard of a coffee body scrub? I sure hadn't until this arrived in one of my Ipsy bag subscriptions. That's one of the things that I love about my subscription, I get to try new products that gives me knew experiences. I've had this organic coffee scrub for a while now and wasn't in a hurry to use it, mainly because I love to drink coffee and never thought to put it on my body. So as you read this review, just know I felt very weird applying this product.

The coffee scrub smelled light a fresh pot of fresh coffee when I opened the packet. I can't say what I expected in a coffee scrub but it wasn't oily like most scrubs, it literally appeared to only include coffee grinds. However, this scrub is filled with Ground Organic (Coffee Arabica) Coffee Bean, Grapeseed oil, Menthha Aquatica, Olive Oil, Almond Oil, Glycerin, Water, Macademia Nut Oil, Vitamin E, Cinnamon Cassia Essential Oil and Vanilla Extract.

It is recommended by the brand to use this product 1-2 times a week in circular motions, leave on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse the product off. One of the goals for this coffee scrub is to rejuvenate the skin. "Ingredients works together to moisturize, exfoliate, and protect you from residual dirt and damage." The Coffee Scrub can be applied to your face also (I didn't know this at first), so that's probably how I will use the remainder of the product. I felt weird putting coffee on my body lol, but if that's your thing, by all means try it out. I didn't notice a difference in my skin after using it but again, the product was on the dry side so that could be the reason why.
Moving forward, I will only use this product as a facial exfoliator and add a few drops of olive oil and almond oil to assist the products goals. I like my coffee in a cup, with two scoops of cream and two cups of sugar lol and not on my body. If you try this product (valued at $18.99), let me know here.
