According to the conference description, "The #BeYourOwnBoss Conference is a full 8-hour day that will leave you empowered AND educated on ways to develop yourself both personally and professionally to truly become the woman you were created to be. You'll enjoy engaging werkshop trainings, panel conversation, Koe's keynote, interactive booths, vendor shopping and a chef-catered lunch!" Day 2 of the conference was exactly that and so much more!
Before our edges were snatched by the speakers and panelists lol, we enjoyed a few ice breakers, giveaways, conversations with our business besties and music from Dj XO.

Now, you can NEVER come to Atlanta and not participate in an opportunity to "swag and surf" and what better place could you look fly as hell doing it, than at WPS weekend? Take a look at all of the werkaholics getting their swag and surf on in the clip below:
Of course the vendors were there with everything you needed to help you build your own business. Poisen Ann, "Inspires women to carry out our purpose and be true to every moment of life."

WELCOME TO WERK UNIVERSITY

Nicole McLaren Campbell traveled all the way from Jamaica to drop gems on us werkaholics. I'll share more, later on in the week about her message, so stay tuned.

We attended Werk University AND traveled to church because we got our entire lives TUHGETHER (together) all in one room with these panelist (left to right): Lakia Brandenburg, Dr. Key Hallmon, , Chek Ahki, Sonia Lewis and Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry. I'm not a content spoiler, it's just one of those "You just had to be in the rooms" moment. Let's just say, we learned so much from the wife coach, an "occasional gem dropper", an alkaline celebrity chef and wellness influencer, the student loan doctor and a sex therapist........A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The reason why I'm so drawn to Koe is because she reminds me of myself at times. She's like a big sister (although I'm older lol) to me. She loves educating women and sharing her platform with tons of women, no matter what your following size is. She's so down to earth unlike some other mean girls that we all know, but that's a topic for another day and time. She walks the walk and definitely talks to talk! She's honest with you when needed and apologetic if she's ever done anything wrong to someone. Having those character traits is true WERK for some women but they're so necessary for this life that we live in.

As you all know, I am a weekly beauty contributor for a fellow BOSS'D UP blogger and photographer babe, Priiincesss on her website here, so of course I attended her study hall session on Blogging 101. Her session was very informative for new bloggers and for bloggers in general, who struggle with creating content for their niche.
Every part of WPS was clearly well thought out and done with such excellence and it showed because this was year 7 of the conferences. Do me and yourself a favor, start saving your coins NOW and meet me next year in Atlanta at the conference. I'm always looking to connect with my new business besties.
